Light-O-Rama - Controlled Triac Board - 8 Channels (CTB08)

THIS IS THE LIGHT CONTROLLER CARD THAT IS USED
Users Guide --------- How it works

The light controller cards were mounted inside
these outdoor water resistant boxes below.
The door has a rubber gasket around it to seal out water
also there is one built in outlet and the box is lockable.
10 1/2" X 9 1/2" X 4"

All you need now is extension cords and 1/2 inch standoffs (FROM RADIO SHACK) to mount the circuit board.
You will be ready to install a Light-O-Rama - Controller Board - with 8 Channels (CTB08)
and if you decide to later add another 8 Channel Controller Board there is room to do so..

If all you want to do is mount a 16 Channel Controller (CTB16D) card
there is ample room to do that also.
The rubber grommet at the bottom of the box is big enough to pass two patch cables through.

Heat sink construction for LOR Controlled Triac Board - (CTB08)

A 4 foot piece of aluminum L channel was bought from Lowes.

It was then cut into smaller pieces and heat
sinks were then mounted to it.
Use heat sink compound (FROM RADIO SHACK) to help transfer heat. This
allows you to use 8 amps instead of 2 amps
per channel, but no more than 15 amps total for the whole card.
